This Women's Day, we're celebrating the ultimate power move: owning your online presence—unapologetically and on your own terms. Because looking like you, the way you choose? That's real feminism.
The dating maverick changing the game
If you've scrolled through social media lately, you've likely come across Billie Rae Brandt's refreshingly honest take on modern relationships. With her signature blend of humor, authenticity, and no-filter advice, Billie has become the voice many needed but few were brave enough to amplify.
When we asked Billie what more women should do in 2025, her answer was immediate and passionate:
"More women should approach in 2025! There has never been a greater disconnect in the modern dating landscape than there is today. As someone who has been in the men's dating-advice sphere for the past three years, I can tell you firsthand, men are confused, tired, and scared. I constantly hear from men who have stopped approaching women because they've been rejected one too many times. Meanwhile, women are frustrated that men aren't taking the initiative. I completely see both sides, but someone has to take the first step. The #1 thing we can do to bridge this gap is to rebuild trust and mutual interest."
It's this kind of straight-talking wisdom that has earned Billie millions of followers across platforms. But behind the viral dating takes is a woman who's equally passionate about beauty standards, personal authenticity, and empowerment.

Owning your image in 2025
For Billie, empowerment comes in many forms—and sometimes, it's as simple as a good pair of false lashes.
"There's nothing better than getting dressed up for a fancy event and putting on a good pair of lashes," she shares when asked what makes her feel instantly powerful. "My first job was in the makeup industry, and I loved when someone came in for a makeover and we finished the look with lashes. It instantly balanced heavier makeup and pulled everything together. Nothing beat seeing a client's reaction to the before and after especially when they saw how much lashes transformed their look!"
This celebration of transformation—on your own terms—resonates deeply with us at Facetune. Because the real feminist move of 2025? It's owning your beauty journey, however that looks for you.
Staying true to your values
What we love most about Billie is her commitment to authenticity, even when it means turning down lucrative opportunities.
"When my platforms first started growing, I had a ton of interest from course creators encouraging me to monetize through dating courses," she reveals when asked about the best advice she's ignored. "I know plenty of people who have built successful careers this way, but something about it never sat right with me. It felt like monetizing desperation and loneliness."
Instead, Billie chose to keep her dating advice free while partnering with brands she genuinely believes in—products that "can genuinely help improve mindset and appearance." This approach has allowed her to stay true to her values while building her platform, something she's "never regretted."
The power of embracing your full self
When it comes to badass things about being a woman that nobody talks about, Billie's answer might surprise you.
"Our hormone cycle," she states confidently. "I went through a rough time post-birth control. My hormones crashed to menopausal levels at just 27, and alternative medicine practically saved me and my fertility. That journey taught me so much about my body and gave me a deep respect for its natural cycle."
She continues, "While men operate on a 24-hour hormone cycle, women have a 28-day cycle. There's something powerful about experiencing four different phases of yourself each month. After having that side of me shut off for nearly a decade on the pill, reconnecting with it was incredibly empowering."
This embrace of her full, cyclical self mirrors what we believe at Facetune: that every version of you deserves celebration, and that you get to decide how you present yourself to the world.
Guilty pleasures without the guilt
And just to prove she's as relatable as she is wise, Billie admits to being "GLUED to Love is Blind" as the guilty pleasure she refuses to feel guilty about. "No one can convince me that ANY of it is staged….I refuse to believe it. (Seriously, don't ruin this for me!)"
